Housing for Disabled People: Have Your Say
09 March 2017
The Equality and Human Rights Commision want to hear from disabled people and relevant organisations in England, Scotland and Wales. They want to understand whether the availability of accessible and adaptable housing, and the support services around it, fulfils disabled people’s rights to live independently.
There are three questionnaires, one for each group they would particularly like to hear from:
- disabled people, their families and carers
- disabled people’s organisations and other voluntary sector and community sector organisations
- housing providers
Their focus is on the experience of disabled people since 2014. The information you give will form an important part of the evidence they consider for their formal inquiry into housing and disability.
Closing date to complete the questionnaire is Tuesday 18 April 2017 at 23:59.
