Join EHRC's Disability Advisory Committee
09 November 2017
The Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) is an advisory Committee of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) which brings together disability expertise to inform the Commission’s decision-making across all its work.
The EHRC are looking for high-performing individuals to complement the skills of the existing DAC members. They want people who have the capability to advise on credible and innovative strategies for removing the barriers that stop disabled people from taking a full and equal part in society. Strategic-thinking, externally-focused and results-orientated, you are likely to be a high-profile, highly-regarded leader within sectors such as business, the third sector, academia, legal services or human rights.
They welcome applications from as diverse a range of applicants as possible and particularly encourage people with lived experience of disability to apply.
Applications close 24th November.
